Certificate-Seeking Applicants

A graduate certificate is an academic credential earned after completing a short program of focused study. Graduate certificate programs can serve both as a stepping stone onto more advanced study, leading to a master’s or doctoral degree, or as a standalone educational achievement to assist in career advancement.

Application for acceptance to the graduate certificate in public health program can be completed online here. Applicants to the certificate program already accepted into the Graduate College may apply as a currently enrolled graduate student ‘applying for a dual degree or addition of a graduate certificate.’

For more information about the public health certificate requirements, see the Certificate Curriculum page.
